At Glass Conscious, we believe in bringing healthier, sustainable alternatives to your kitchen. Every purchase supports three small businesses right here in Northeast Ohio. Our business is mostly run from our home, with a small, dedicated team of part-time help. Yes, our space is often filled with boxes, glass, and packing materials, but it’s all part of our mission to provide a better way to cook and eat.

We understand how overwhelming it can be to maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially when you learn about the harmful effects of plastic on your food. That’s why we’re passionate about offering a simple, durable, and healthy solution—the Glass Microwave Vegetable Steamer. This product is a step toward taking back control in the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

As someone who struggles with staying fully committed to a healthy diet, I designed this steamer as a go-to dish for quick, effortless meal prep. Steaming veggies without thinking about harmful chemicals or complicated cleanup has been a game changer for me, and I hope it will be for you, too. The easy cleanup is just as essential to me as the convenience of a quick, healthy meal!

When I couldn’t find a plastic-free microwave steamer, I decided to create one. I spent time traveling across northern Ohio, working with local fabrication shops to bring this vision to life. All finishing steps are done here in the USA, and we’ve been using our steamer for years—it functions just like the plastic versions, but without the health risks and with the added benefit of easier cleaning.
